Bol - Vidova gora - Zlatni rat

Excursion to town Bol on island of Brač and it's highest peak Vidova gora is an average mountaineering tour. Ascent starts from church Gospe od Karmela, crosses the access road to Bol and through the deserted hamlet Podborje climbs to the crossroads, on the left to climb the new, and on the right old "Roman road" in  Gornji Humac. The road gradually into the rocky bay and climbs uphill through the rocks in the area of the Veliko Koštilo (on the hill are the remains of an ancient fortress) still in the corners between walls before reaching the edge of the highlands of Brač near the top that is easily noticeable by the transmitter. The road is hard, because the difficult terrain overcomes altitude of 780 m.
