Sv. Jure - Vošac

Transportation to the Sv. Jure peak (1762 m), highest peak on Biokovo mountain. We continue hiking to the Vošac peak (1422 m). Along the way we have a wonderful views on central Biokovo range. After arrived to the Vošac peak, where we enjoyed in view of Makarska, surrounding settlements and Dalamtian islands, we go down to the Mountaineering lodge Pod Vošcem (1300 m). In front of Lodge, in the shadow of pine trees, we have a lunch (picnic). After lunch we go back in Makarska by vehicles.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT:

Hiking shoes (minimum high sport shoes with hard soles), comfortable and light clothing, sun protection (hat, sun glasses, sun block), protection from rain (raincoat), at least 3 liters of water.

Hiking: 4 hours

Ascent: 122 m

Descent: 462 m

Length of the route: Sv. Jure -Vošac – Mountaineering lodge Pod Vošcem - approx. 9 km

Total duration of the trip is 8 hours, price: 380,00 HRK or 50 euro per person (minimum of 4 persons)
